thanks for that ill look into it. it may be a better solution as im sure ill be usign E85 for a while now. where are you getting yours from? ive just finished a drum of the "just fuels petrolium" E85 and it was great, Im getting some Fuel2race stuff tomorrow and dyno just after christmas so i will see how it goes.

If your getting your stuff from just fuel petroleums your somewhere in melbourne then im assuming. i get E98 from just fuel, marios a great guy actually. I ordered the GM Ethanol tester for him about a year ago as he use to send his fuel to get tested. it has saved him time and money.

Although if your getting E85 theres a few E85 servos in melbourne that you can obtain it from aswell now.

Whats your ride by the way ??

Im in Canberra but i can get it through the rally school in syney and he meets me in yass. Ive just got some through fuel2race at $348 for a 44 gal drum (mixed with 98ron).
I currently have a gemini drag car with a 13b turbo which is nearly ready to run, so far ive made 446.3 hp on 15 psi boost but ill turn up the wick soon. Kevin from south coast rotarys has been doing all the turning work and is a E85 fan, yourself?

ahhh ok, makes sense then. just thaugt you were melbourne based.

Myself VX Commodore V6 4.2 Stroker Whipple Supercharged @ 22psi. Makiing 355rwkw/476 rwhp. Hopefully get it down to calder soon. Was having issues with closing the bonnet coz of the bigger blower. Ordered a new custom bonnet from the US.

In the end the fees and duties i paid i should have just got it made here and would have been cheaper aswell.

Going to touch up the tune soon and get her down the strip.

Hopefully someday you can just go down to the station and get E85 for 2.52 like it is here with all taxes on it (gasoline here is 2.99 for comparison). That will take time and a few an interested ethanol plant or fuel supplier to make that happen.

All last summer here E85 was 1.99 while gas was around 2.60.
