G'day Guys
If been using E85 in my car now with standard rubber hoses and heard that they might become corroded with constat use of the fuel, I pulled a couple of lines off and could see no wear what so ever. Anyone else got any proof of this happening? _________________ love the smell of E85 race fuel in the morning |

You'll probably hear nothing but crickets chirping waiting to hear someone pipe up about problems with rubber hose and E85. The OEMs have been building to work with 10% ethanol for years now so I would assume that the aftermarket has followed suit.
You'd have to look into the specific brand and part number of the hose (maybe contact the manufacturer) to be able to find out for sure. I've zero customer reports of incompatibility with hose (usually AN stuff is what they use) and I personally have not had any issues either.
Maybe in the long run the hose would get hard quicker with E85 but so far, no issues.
Hope that helps. _________________ E85 racer and E85 carb builder
