| I have a PF 950HP that I'm considering converting to E85. Since it already has billet metering blocks. Can I just change the screw in bleeds in them to get the correct metering for E85 or do I need different metering blocks? Thanks for your replies. Jim |

Nope. Booster passages have to be larger, that means replacing the boosters with new ones after drilling them. Mainwells and exit channels have to be drilled as well. Bigger jets. _________________ Mark Whitener |

| I have heard that the PF 1050 MB has large enough boosters that they would not need to be changed. Would going to this MB make for an easier conversion? Jim |

Whether they have big enough boosters or not there is a real benefit to starting with a known good tuneup. E85 is not the easiest fuel to guestimate a baseline with. I'd take Mark up on his offer -- maybe he could save you a $ or two if boosters and blocks are already OK . . . I know he has some good tuneups for carbs like yours. _________________ E85 racer and E85 carb builder
