I was recetly corrected after posting in a thread on another forum pertaining to water in ethanol fuels , I had used the terms hydrous and anhydrous and another member posted that hydrated and dehydrated are the terms used in the industry and that I had used improper terminology.
sounds to me like either set of terms could surely describe wet or dry but to me hydrated would imply that water was purposely added while hydrous would just state that water is present...

You asked for opinions . . . so . . .
I think people that have nothing better to do than correct others on little details like that need to be a busier. LOL
IMO it doesn't matter, both terms get the point across. It's not like you are using some slang word or word that doesn't exist. _________________ E85 racer and E85 carb builder

| The terminology you used Murph is almost exclusively used in technical papers within the industry. Somebody has too much time or too big of an ego to challenge you on this point. |
