hi there,

I hope that here are some (Volvo) drivers who could help me. today my lambda control lamp lights up. Shocked

error codes are 2-3-1 and 2-2-1, whats means that the adaptive lambda regulation in partial load is poor (low?)

does that mean that there could be some problems in the nearby future while driving with ethanol-gasoline?? must i do anything?

could there appear any problems if i drive on?

my car: 945 soft-turbo, 99kW, no rising fuel consumption, no variable idle speed, no lost of power

Hi,

Assuming your warning light and error codes mean your Ethanol blend has exceeded your vehicle's ability to adjust the Air/Fuel mixture properly.

Try adding more gasoline to the tank and see if the light goes OFF after driving a while. If it doesn't I'd have the problem check out. There could be a problem. Adding more Ethanol isn't going to do any good here. Keep your Ethanol blend at a % where the light doesn't go ON.

two days ago I have filled up with a blend of ~ 35% alcohol. now there will be enough room in the tank to fill in more gas to set the blend to 25%.

i hope that this will help to let the check lamp going off.

thanks
Berti
