Anybody know if Walbro's electric intank fuel pumps are long term compatible with e85? The model I'm specifically looking at is GSC404. Any guidance you're able to offer is welcome.

They don't recommend it, but I have put nearly 2 years on my 344 model on high ethanol blends, with about 1 year of that at 100% E85.

So far no signs of issues.

Thanks for the reply Larry, thats a big help. Could you ballpark what the high ethanol blends were? Maybe e40? e50? Also, if you could give a rough estimate of the miles traveled in these time periods, that would be an enormous help.

Last time I tallied it up, I'd put about 500 gallons of E85 through the tank, thats about 40 fillups or around 9000 miles. Nearly 1 year of that was at 100% - 90%(cold weather) E85 blends exclusively.
