Welcome to the forum, it is nice to see people from europe on the forum.
We have several people that have experience with the Honda, and they have had good success at least in turbocharged applications.
I will let them comment on your particular car as I have no experience with honda's.
Many of your questions may already be answered if you search for honda and read those threads.

The general experience of the people experimenting with E85 is that newer cars that use OBDII emissions systems do very well on E85 conversions and to my knowledge no one has had major fuel system compatibilty problems with rubber hoses, O-rings on fuel injectors or other components.
The one exception to that is I have heard that some cars with plastic fuel tanks may not do well on E85 but I do not know the specific years and models that might be of concern.

wow i like the honda legend,
i would guess you need injectors, possibly SAFC or something to time your fuel map ... although your car is a OBD0 you will have to actually modify quite a lot of parts. You would need a good tune on the dyno to lean out the mix. I thought of including a button for ethanol/gasoline swich. It is possible with the SAFC ...
you would need a OBD0 to OBD1 wiring harness or something like that. I would worry about corrosion so i would make sure all fuel components is e85 safe on long term. Especially if you have a kid. _________________ I guess Hubert Reeves thinks this is an important matter
Cost of Can. Gov. studies on global warming ? xx M$
Cost of industrial scientific studies for alternative energy sources ? x M$
Cost of a 100$ batch of distilled ethanol ?
Priceless |

Hi guys
Sorry for late answer, I was away for while
After enquiries, the Legend does not seem to be ok to be fitted with E85...
Injectors impedance would be the reason...!?
Anyway thanks for your post... |

you would need to get bigger injectors anyways so that you could keep your fuel mix to stoechiometric mix _________________ I guess Hubert Reeves thinks this is an important matter
