I just purchased a 03 tahoe and, according to the 8th character in my VIN, I can use E85 fuel. I'm not sure if I'll start using it now, but it's good to have that option in the future.

Since I've never used e85 before I want to make sure that I don't harm my new baby right out of the gates...is it ok for me to top off a tank of normal fuel with e85 or should I run the tank down before putting e85 in?

any other pointers on usage that you experts might have would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

unfortuantely it didn't come with an owners manual...the dealership is in the process of ordering one for me, but they expect it to take 3 weeks or so...

If you have a flex fuel vehicle you can use any mix of E85 you like. It's a good fuel system/engine cleaner so theoretically it would keep your new baby nice and clean on the inside.
