Thanks for all the info on E85, we took the first step on a conversion tonight and retuned one SuperX to use E85. She's running really well, but over the next few days I'll do some data logging on the bike to see how well it works.

The first bike was running so well I decided to load the tune on to the second bike, Both bike are running better than ever. They idle smoother and are running cooler. The other thing I notice right after leaving the BP station was a noticeable change in the exaust note, it sound much sharper than before. I figured I rattle a few of the windows in the Vera-sun corp headquarters on the way back to the shop. The best way to describe it is it was like I was trying to run an alcohol motor on gasoline for the last couple of years and now it's happy to be on the fuel it was built for. We will get out and put some miles on them this weekend. |

| Congratulations on your success. That E-H is one beautiful bike. If you get to the Twin Cities some time, we could compare E-85 motorcycles! |

Thanks! Accually I was close to the cities last weekend for the Excelsior rally in Le Center. Bikes are running great, I'm on about the 6th version of the tune we are using now. I have the fuel maps about were I want them and have started working on the ignition maps, the factory had the timing pulled way back to keep the bike from pinging at cruise. But with Ethanol runnning cooler and having a 105 octane I no longer have to compromise proformance. And boy did the bike respond to more timing! |
