Guys, why is it that when one ( okay, its me, don't know if others have trouble or not ) writes out a responce that takes more than just a few minutes to compose, the site kicks you back to login and your text is lost ? Does one have only a short amount of time to compose an answer ? If there is a timeout function, can it be eliminated or extended ? It is frustrating beyond belief to type for an hour or more and then have the site lose your stuff. I just can't type as fast as I used to be able to. That, and C.R.S. disease slows me down compared to when I was younger. Can anyone help ? LSG

yep, the site logs you out after a set time. Its just what ever the moderators have it set at. Normally I just back up to the reply and after I find out I am logged out and highlight all my words and right click and select copy then login AGAIN and post a reply AGAIN and right click paste the words into the reply window.

Ive found if im gonna be busy typing a post I just open up Notepad and type everything in that then I go login and copy and paste the text from notepad

The cookies for the site were set to expire after 1 hour. I bumped it up to 4 hours based on a note here:

... let me know if that fixes it (or breaks something else).
