I just converted my Mazda Miata to E-85. It is supercharged with a system that injects extra fuel into the intake manifold similar to water injection only using fuel instead.
It has alowed me to run 12 psi. of boost without an intercooler and around 200whp from my little 1.8litre. I just swapped in some injectors from an RX8 and my OEM ECU shows a trim of -16% (well within spec). I tell you this E85 has made a huge difference. I was able to add back all the timing I was pulling for safety via my little piggy controller. I have gained significant power and my knock sensor is so quiet that I'll be upping my crank pulley SOON!
Looking forward to learning from you guys and exploring the new found power from E85! |
