Searching on "e85 forum" produces hits for this forum at Altavista, Yahoo, Lycos, MSN, Excite and HotBot. Usually, this site is listed below the forum for the BMW Z4 (a.k.a. "E85"), although Excite lists it as #6.

AskJeeves and Google still have no hits. Sad

But you can help: link from your site to E85forum.com, or to any topic which you find helpful.

Unfortunately, I'm not a Search Engine Optimization guru. I belong to some forums that are well-Google'd, even though they are plain, unoptimized phpBB, so at least there's hope.

But it's interesting that Google seems to make it hard for new forums to get discovered. Maybe we need to add a Paris Hilton topic or something.

Aha! I found that my robots.txt file was doing nothing, and google has been crawling mostly the "posting.php?..." pages. This correction may help it index just the discussions here.

I made some optimazations today to clean-up "unregistered guest" access (especially search engines). Let me know if you have any problems loading pages.

I've decided to try to help the site get indexed by search engines.

Latest mod: parts of the Able2Know SEO mod applied (remove SSIDs from URLs for search engines, and use static web-page URLs for forums and postings).
