I have problem with drive on E85. Fuel is weak fuel some noise(like bum bum) from air filter when I press pedal, also ethanol smell from exhaust.

Works fine when adapter is on E100 mode but get worst mpg (less then 14). I check everything, replace fuel filter, rest of component is in working order...engine have less then 10.000 mile after rebuild.

Thanks for any help

You need to give us more information about the car.

What engine do you have (make and model).
Is the engine using a turbocharger, or not.

Did you just install the bioadapter, or has it been working properly and suddenly started having problems.

Perhaps Obormot can help you once we have enough information about your car.

Hello!

you can enter into service menu and adjust % of enrichment and % of cold start enrichment, but i think problem is not in the adjustment.

if there is a smell from exhaust, low mpg and you using E100 setting - AFR is too rich. but driveability become worse when youmaking AFR leaner - try to check fuel pressure (fuel pump performance and fuel pressure regulator). problem with cold start may be becouse of damaged valve in fuel pressure regulator. last year we have very similar situation on one car.

is there any missfires in cylinders? is engine work smooth or maybe 1 cylinder do not working? if yes - check injector connectors.

car is 1995 galant,2.4 L.MPI no turbo-stock.I go to setup on adapter and change from 15 to 21 on AUTO mode......looks like only AUTO mode have adjustment.engine runs better, just i feel like have too lean mixture, but my idea is to runs on e85 and dont spent fortune to fill tank.Price for e 85 is aground 2.55 per gallon regular gas 87 2.80.This id normally when car run on e85 get 20% more gas?...This is my first experience with bio adapter and i really like this....little hard, but is new thing to learn. Now i stop frequent and open hood, counting blinking led and adjust ....drive little and adjust adapter again....over and over.I hope i can get better MPG.What i have check to perfect adjust my adapter?....i make short movie how car start and run ...link be ready tomorow. Thanks everybody !!!!!!!!

this is how i adjust adapter:
adapter is set for auto, ignition is on.i press and hold button, all led present,i release button and red blink, blue blink once that i mean im on AUTO mode setup, yellow start blinking(fox example 21 times). to change i press and hold button and all led start blinking,i count and when i get wanted numbers i release button, turn off ignition. If this is incorrect please correct me.

hello!

you need to connect special gauge to fuel line and measure fuel pressure on stopped engine, idling and other modes.

adjusting procedure is correct.
