I am new to this site, so I hope I am not asking a previous question.
I oversee a fleet of 8 FFV's which are fueled with E85. Recently one of the vehicles' check engine light illuminated, with left and right banks running lean trouble codes. The service adviser found water contaminated E85. There have been no other problems with vehicles fueled at the same E85 facility, and the vendor told me he has had no reports of fuel problems. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you. |

| Could it be sabotage or are the caps locked? |

Thank you for your suggestion.
The vehicles are kept in a secure area, and not left unattended when they are being used. This vehicle was driven to use up as much residual fuel as possible, the KAM was reset, the lean trouble codes were cleared, and the vehicle was refueled with E85. Have had no further problems.
Thanks again - have a good day. |
