I prefer my carb customers to use a hotter plug....but go with the plug your builder recommends....

was built as a gas motor. The builder in town thinks I was stupid for converting to e85. Ran Race gas for 3 years with ngk fr5 on a 250shot. I think this is good but do not want a gernade to go off.

Use a stock replacement plug or one step hotter if the plugs show no heat on the electrodes.

I personally use a champion racing plug C59YC in my WRX but the plug is often used by Chevy engine builders. It is a J gap plug and most engines like J gap plugs in high performance applications. IN fact the shop I first bought them for ran a circle track stock car, and used these plugs in their race car.

This thread has a discussion on plugs you might find useful.

I'd use the Autolite 3934 (race version in that heat range) or if you want an extended tip street plug use the 3923 (one heat range cooler)
