|
|
Hi
My car is a 1995 ford escort MK6 with a 4 cylinder1.6 Zetec engine
It is a multi point fuel injection
I know you have to get a gas conversion kit to use LPG so i imagine things would be the same with ethanol
I could just go and poor pure alcohol in my tank but i imagine it would not run very well
Also why do you use 15% petrol and not 100% ethanol?
Thanks

May i assume since barley is the predominate grain that you are in eastern Europe? If so I will find a link to a group there who make a kit to convert their cars. If you are Canadian though there are other kit links I would point you to.
Your goal is convert this car for daily driver use right? |

If you go to this website you can find kit makers and discussions of them;
http://e85vehicles.com/e85/index.php
Look in the section near the center for conversions.
Also in those posts you can find some posts by Obormot- you could find in one of his posts the link to the Ukranian forum if you like. At times he has posted a link that converts it all to English but I could not find the English link tonight. If you want to buy a US kit take a hard look at Jonny Energy most recent posts. |
