I can't get it to idle and part throttle drive...the A/F is all over the place. I plan to switch back to the 83lb injectors and see how far I go. I also plan to upgrade to sequential and either 120's or 160's in the winter.
Anyone ever try 120lb/hr injectors on a B2B using e85?
Thanks! |
Do you have a way to limit the minimum injector pulsewidth with that system? Assuming you do, what is it set to? _________________

I have heard that some of the larger injectors have a longer dead time before they can respond to a new pulse (latency) than typical injectors.
If your engine management system allows you to set that, you might be able to solve the problem by telling the ecu it needs to give them more lead time to open at idle.
If the dead time is long compared to the pulse time, the injector may not open consistently. The pulse is too short to fully open the injector at idle and sometimes it fails to open fully, so you get erratic FA mixtures.

it's hard to believe the 160's won't idle for you. Now that you have the larger injectors:
what is your idle fuel pressure?
what is your ignition timing at idle?
What is your idle RPM?
If you raise the idle with the throttle screw then lower the idle by pulling timing it will load the motor which should lean your mixture requiring you to add pulse width which should drastically improve idle stability _________________ 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo - Corn Fed
